Daring

2012 Sommelier’s Choice

"... Along with "lots of petrol notes," as detected by O’Neal, this surprising New Zealand Riesling took top honors for what Caparoso described as "lemon, minerals, wildflowers galore—a whole field of stuff." We received the wonderful news that True & Daring was the winner in its category at the annual 2012 Sommelie's Choice event. The category is for Riesling and Loire Whites. This blew us away and we are very grateful for the honor. You can also read what they have to say about the wines in the extract below...

  • …a delightful Riesling with an old world profile. It has a good concentration yet elegant with lovely finish. It was one of my favorite wines of 9 blind tasting at the Porter House.
